How shall I manage my forum ?
I need somebody, who shall I take as moderator ? As second administrator ?
I'm here to answer to those questions, mostly stupid, but very importants !
Normally, at the beginning of your forum, you have not a lot of visitors. You have not to take moderators.
But ? Np has moderators ! Why should not I take moderators ?
At the beginning, you don't NEED to have moderators. When your forum will have more than 100 visitors per day, you might take one or two moderators to help you in your hard task of administrator
Do not take someone you have met on the net. You MUST know the person very well if you want to take him/her as moderator in your forum.
I'm sorry to say that but taking people from big forums like NP is not a good thing to do.
Your forum works since a few months
You get a lot of visitors everyday.
At this moment, only, you can take moderators to help you. Do not answer people who send you Pm's to become moderator, administrator or whatever ...
Write a news like on NP and sdz which explain why do you need moderators, what are they supposed to do ... Then choose one or two moderator(s).
If you wanna get more visitors, try to put ads on google or make some partnerships with other websites ...
Do not send ads by PM, You might lose a lot of visitors.
If you wanna earn some money with your forum, just subscribe to google adsence.
Do not use any signature like "Mysuperpseudo - Master of the forum". You have not super power
Your member won't like it !
