hi peoples; do you know how to make an object show up in a windows form application (i mean like labels and buttons)? I'm trying to create an array of objects and the only way i can think to do that is to write it out in the source code... (i know how to create an array of objects just not how to make them show up) if you haven't already noticed by the sub-title, this is in visual C# 2008.

You should look at the code the designer generates for you, and copy what you want from it ;) . You can also search the MSDN for the winforms documentation :) .

the code designer doesn't give you any code, it puts it all into a discrete function...

I know, but you should look into this function code to find how to create your widgets :) .

There should be a way to unhide it... When I was using C# (with Visual Studio 2005 Express), I was able to read the autogenerated code by opening the file with another editor (like notepad, for example).

But you should really use SharpDevelop  .

(i remember getting a third party java compiler that didn't work...) which version should i download? oh yeah, and your method on reading the form designer generated code works!!! :p EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!
