That is not really a bug, it's a lack of permission :D

I want to delete that useless part, but I can't.

About tutorial validation: I deal with newly submitted tutos every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

You wanna delete one of your tutorials or a newbie's ? If it's a newbie's, from what I know, you can't. But if it's one of yours, it's a problem from the code.

Bye :)

Hmm I'm not sure there's anything wrong here.
From my point of view, a validator should tell the author of a tutorial what is good and what is not. If a part of a submitted tutorial is not good enough or found to be useless to a point it needs to be deleted, then just drop a note to the author, ask him to delete it and explain the reason why. Then the author will do whatever is needed to be done according to the validator's feedback before it's submitted again; not the other way around. You do not have to make changes to a tuto and submit these changes to the author.

The tutorial is the author's baby, so the author is the one who makes changes to it. Try to picture your reaction if someone removed this nice flames sticker you installed on your custom car, just because he felt like it was useless... :p

Titophe > Ok, I agree :)
But you can't imagine how long it takes to some people to do that ^^

No, hes hasn't ! Only the author can edit/remove/edit ! Validators can just approve or disapprove ! I think if you read correctly the text on My tutorial's page, you could understand what I mean.

I quote from the sdz (Where I found the information) :

Quote: M@teo21
Notez que les validateurs n'ont pas le pouvoir de modifier votre tuto. Seul vous le pouvez.

TRANSLATION :

Quote: M@teo21
Validator hasn't got the right to edit the tutorials that they have to approve (or not :p ). It means only you can edit / remove it. They only can resend your tutorial and tell you to correct it.

It means validators can't touch your tuto if it's not to approve it :p

On that, bye

Validators _can_ edit tutorials on the Site du Zéro : for example, they often upload images which are not on the nUpload system and change the links directly in the tutorial, because it's not really a reason for not accepting a tutorial.

No, they do not accept tutorials if the tutorial is not valid for NP.
If your tuto is conform to np's rules, it is accepted.

Have you understood me ?

Ok, time to set things clear :
Validators CAN edit tutos (upload images on Np, correct small mistakes...)
However, validators wont rewrite the tuto. Editions done are always small ones, like changing sentences etc..., that they can correct themselves.

Okay, if you are French, you can understand French okay ? I have quoted
from M@teo21, right ? Normally, you have understood. If not, I've translated it in English. M@teo21 said that on the sdz. NP and sdz are the same website but NP is in English. You are saying that NP is different than SDZ ...
