I am gonna give an answer here, so everyone can understand.

It's mainly about the size of the school.
The bigger it is, the higher it is. For exemple, i am pretty sure 5A is the max where I live, but they might have 6A in texas...
lynskyn probably live in a big city, so his football team is pretty big. In smaller towns, like mine, there are only 200 people in my school, and we are 2A, which means that not very many kids are playing, and we are weaker :D.

The level matters too for example, we were a 3A school last year, and we sucked bad... so guess what happened :D.

By the way, this "category" system also works for basketball, track, wrestling,...

But, you talk about American football ?

Football != soccer, please don't post on this website if you're not able to speak english correctly (as we told you on the thread you created in "Ideas and comments").

nicoco => 5A is also the max in Texas, and I guess it's the max in every state except California maybe...

You european people are talking about 'Amercian Football' you mean football right?

Yeah in Europe, football means soccer. I am talking about Real Football !

I play D-Line, and Nose Guard.
