I used to play WoW too... played it for 1½, i liked the game, but i wasn't that addicted to it (real life [what they call RL on WoW]) was still much more important to me, so it was too much money for no reasons (like 10h a week...)
I saw some badly addicted guys on that, people who completly runed their lifes, lost job, lost gf/bf over that game... MMORPG's are good, you just need to be able to draw a line between it and your real life and not let the game take over.
Be careful MMORPGers

I used to play WOW, I played for about half a year, but I got bored as its quite repetative, I suppose I would have been addicted, but my parents wouldn't let me

I play WoW about 5 hours a week. Therefore, can't say I am addicted, it didn't change anything in my life. It is just a great passtime between two tutorials
A forum without flooder is just like a couple without conflict: ideal, but impossible

World of warcraft is a pretty addictive game, but i can only sit and do quests for about an hour of two before i get totally burned out on it.
