In Europe only 0.76 % of the connected people have a linux distribution, i'm wondering how many people have linux in the world.

I think there are more Linux users in the rest of the world, because it's free, and the people in poor country can't afford to buy £70 (or more) for Windows, when they can have an other OS which is free.

I have only Kubuntu on my computer, I deleted windows :p .

WinLSD... Hum... Do you know that this version is not legal... But if you have a valid key, it's better ;) !

Hum... Yes maybe but nothing isn't legal if nobody catch me... ^^

I've got Ubuntu on my mac… Lost the password for the internet though, so it isn't much use. Good nevertheless.

I have both windows 2000 pro and Debian Etch. The latter is always on. Windows is just in case I wanna try a thing or two or help someone (as a technician, I can't ignore windows).

I had Ubuntu and Kubuntu but I prefer Windows XP.

I could not make all that I wanted with Ubuntu. That's why I have deleted it of my computer and kept Windows XP.

I'm a high school lover, and you're my favorite flavor.

I had installed Ubuntu with a dual-boot system on my PC, but it's a family computer and I had to remove it because the hard drive was nearly full. I now use Windows XP but I hope to have my own PC soon (home built) and install a Linux OS on it.

You'll have both Ubuntu & Debian ? Why don't you remove XP and just keep Ubuntu ?

You think I am useless ? That occurs often, don't care about that.

I only have fedora & debian + Gnome.
No "Windows ..." :)

I know, but Linux is not made in order to remake a Windows... Linux is Linux, Mac is Mac, Windows stays Windows.

Hello !

I have Ubuntu with Kde. I am also happy with my linux distribution.

I still use Windows but only when I absolutely must use it (namely to navigate on some websites or when I want to burn a DVD (it is not possible on my Linux PC and I can't install linux on my other PC because I have no access to Internet from a linux distribution).

To be or not to be ?

-Gentoo
-Linux From Scratch.
