All things Halo

Well I had quite a bit of trouble finding Halo enthusiasts in the SdZ forums, often hearing it being referred to as a Half Life rip-off, but I hope to find more fans here, so if any of you have any Halo news or what not, here's the thread!

Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo PC, Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, the books, the music, or the movie if M$ decides to revive it, just post anything you hear.

I'll start this off with Halo 3, cause personally that's what I'm waiting for over all the other projects.

Halo 3 is advancing (are any of you in the beta?), and I just found some new screenshots and even a video of ALPHA footage in the HBO forums. Frankie tells us that these is from an old ALPHA, missing out on hundreds of new tidbits and eye-candy which is being added everyday, but they are already quite good, can't wait to get my hands on a Legendary copy

However what I'd like to point out is that so far we're only hearing about and seeing MP content. What about the SP? Apart from the trailers and that one screen of MC against that gray wall, nothing.

So what do you guys think will happen in this final chapter? What do you want seen? (I'd just like to point out that I am not part of Bungie's staff, this is in no way an official poll from the devs)

IMO, I want to see a UNSC equivalent to the Banshee. Shees are cool, but some helicopter/jump-jet style vehicle would be cool. Some heretic Elites would be cool, or some slaved Elites, as long as not all Elites are our allies, cause I'm seriously missing that "Wort Wort Wort!" from Halo 1. I really hope to see some massive battles a la Two Betrayals Third Canyon. As long as the campaign is enthralling and with level design as good as for those nice open levels from the original Halo, I can only love it.

Also all the maps from Halo 1 (and PC) and 2 (both map packs) would be seriously great, and would ensure that I'd still regularly have it in my 360's tray.

So your turn now, what do you want most in Halo 3?

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Halo I've got Halo on PC and Halo 2 on Xbox. I'm waiting for Halo 3 but I think I should buy a Xbox 360 :x

I am fan of Halo 1 and 2, and I will buy the books soon I think.

It's a pity that Halo 2 PC will only exists for windows Vista and Halo 3 only on XboX 360.

Mine is =EK= CupiD (on PC, i don't have XBL yet ). However that is subject to change as I am too busy to participate actively in a clan.
Why don't you guys post your xfire screen-name, it's much simpler than a Halo profile which can be changed with just one click.
